Jesus is real. I can't say it enough. The Lord says " Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you." Mark 5:19
Let me bring you back in time to the year 1999. "Everythings a scheme in this all American Dream" was my realization after accepting Jesus. I was 21yrs old. I thought the all American Dream was to get high and get rich. After growing up watching Yo MTV Raps and listening to: Dr. Dre, Mobb Deep, Nas, Wu-Tang, Tupac, and Biggie "I thought nothing makes the world go round but the cream." I mean these rap artist had it all. The women, money, rides, and the huge cribs. At 16 working at McDonald's I was making petty cash. "So as a teen I became a feen to my surroundings, selling crack on the corner of blocks you found me loungin."
While they were rapping about it, I went and followed. I started to have no respect towards authority. At that time I was under the legal age of having a felony on my record. So everytime I would get caught my mom had to bail me out on P.T.A. She was the one getting hurt. But "It wasn't enough when I had my mom suffering, everyday hustling, 40oz. I was guzzling."
Cigarettes, weed and alchohol wasn't enough. So I started to mix weed and crack. I was done! I was stuck in a world of anxiety. I became desperate to get high. I would even puff before going to school. There was no way out. "I was bound and trapped to the weed and crack, it took Jesus Christ to make me see that fact. I had no direction when my life was sinking, so called on the navigator who directs more then lincoln." I couldn't live in the craziness I was in.
I quit hustling and I got a job. I wanted to be legit. That's where God got me.God used my boss to reach me where I was at. I was unsatisfied with life. I had a daughter and was broke. I realized that mostly all rap artist were rapping about selling, shooting, getting high and so forth and they were getting paid from rapping. While catz are in the street getting they hustle on cuz they hungry for the life style of the rich and famous but they getting locked up and stuff.I just about had it. So I got the opportunity to call out to God in the factory I was working in. I had to call for help. After I did that I felt God "Rush in like a raid and came to my aid. So now my life has changed, it's no longer the same." From the day that I accepted Him (Jesus) up to this present day I have not had a single urge to smoke. So Ladies and Gentlemen I know that God is real. My addiction to drugs is completely gone. "It was Jesus who rose the roof, brung the light, Brung the truth, took the veil, paid the bail with His life to brake me loose from the jail that had me incarcerated cuz sin is like a cell that satin has created."
God is funny ya. I thought I wasn't worthy to be loved or used by God. I thought salvation couldn't come my way. I've hurt too many people and done too much damage.But not only did it come my way, God is using me through rap music to reach others. Salvation is for ALL! Even for the hustlers! God can use each and every one of you.
