"Wide open, 17-tune collection that blends R&B, rock and acoustic music as deftly as it alternates originals and covers. Includes spririted takes on the Beatles' "One After 909," the Don Covay and Steve Cropper-penned, Aretha Franklin-owned "Seesaw," and barroom singalon fave "Hang on Sloopy."
Rick Cornell, Independent Weekly, November 19-25, 2003

Takes me back...
author: Billie Mann
I used to go see Lise Uyanik and The Mobile City band in the 80's, the first time I heard her voice was at The Station in Carrboro, NC. I'm so glad she put out this CD! It really takes me back to those great times, and her voice is amazing. Charlie Ebel's guitar is as crisp and strong as ever. Love this CD! Thanks so much!
