Keith LuBrant is from New Jersey, which has always been a breeding ground for great songwriters and great music. Sandwiched in-between two of the greatest musical cities in the world, New York and Philadelphia, New Jersey has the proximity to be influenced by the incredible music of these cities, yet the distance necessary to build one's own style. Keith has taken advantage of this fact with great success. His musical style is fresh and original. His dedication to songwriting is evident in the integrity and detail that go into the crafting of his music.
"I've always loved a song with a hook regardless of the musical style", says Keith. "I've spent hours analyzing songs...why some parts work and others don't...what makes a song good". It's safe to say that Keith has figured it out and learned how to use that knowledge. A single listen to his CD or going out and seeing him perform live is enough to get you hooked. One minute you're standing still and then...your foot is tapping, your body is swaying, your head is nodding...but most of all, a smile is on your face.
Keith has performed at several conferences and festivals, had many songs aired on national television shows such as JOAN OF ARCADIA (CBS), REAL WORLD (MTV), ROAD RULES (MTV), ROADTRIP (DISCOVERY), PUNK'd (MTV), and more. He has also composed songs for companies such as Philips Electronics, and has performed on CD's with various national artists. He now looks to record the follow up to his debut CD, Face In The Crowd.

Every song is a hit

Keith Lubrant strikes chords that we all can relate to.
author: Marcus VersaceFace In The Crowd is music and words for us all. There is no dividing line on this album. In todays world of canned, homogenized corporate crap, it's refreshing to hear REAL music, sung and played by REAL musicians with real passion and energy. That's what Keith Lubrant and the band deliver on Face In The Crowd. All the tunes are tight, Keith's guitar tone covers all the bases from raw, on All I Want to Be, to his acoustic work on the drum-driven Hear Me. Furthermore, the production is outstanding, which is rare on an indie album. From the subtle harmonies in the title track to the brush work on Midnight Once Again, this album has texture which is rare and refreshing. The rhythm section paints a tight, moving bottom end for Keith to build upon; and he does. This album does not sound like a debut album. It sounds like it was done by seasoned veterans who are comfortable in their own skins. I highly reccomend Face In The Crowd, and look forward to hear what's next from Keith Lubrant.
