Luca Princiotta is the guitarist of the Italian Heavy Metal band Clairvoyants and the
guitarist/keyboarder of the Hard Rock band DORO, leaded by the German singer Doro
Pesch.
LPB is an ambitious project born from the thoughts of three fantastic session musicians.
Their instrumental rock is a mix of power, technic and passion and their debut album “Vis
Viva” is the result of their experiences and influences; a journey between interpretation
and improvisation. The album is composed by 10 tracks, 9 originals and 1 cover,
a revisited version of jazz standard written by Steve Kuhn "The Saga Of Harrison
Crabfeathers". The songs are linked by a unique and homogeneous rock sound, blended
with jazz and blues. Many are the influences from which the three musicians draw:
powerful riffs that recall rock and progressive atmospheres, guitar melodies and solos
that do not look out of place in albums of Guitar Heros like Steve Vai or Andy Timmons,
tight and pressing drum and bass groove. The title "Vis Viva" (Living Force) perfectly
underline the concept of "energy" that the Trio is able to express and the production
enhances all the nuances and dynamics of this album.
Line-up:
Luca Princiotta: Guitar
Gian-Andrea Costa: Bass
Rocco Lombardi: Drums
