All in all, a good CD
author: Charlie
OK, after listening to it several times, here is the deal.
At first there were only a couple of songs I liked but after a few
reviews three more songs grew on me and now consider the CD very good with five nice songs, a couple that may grow and the rest not my type. The female singer reminds me of the singer from Savage Garden. The songs are different with many instruments and fitting lyrics.
All in all, I am more than satisfied because I wanted the CD for just the one song I had heard. Now I have at least four others that I like on it.

Mature, sublime and superb. Plus many other qualities.

This is a superb album and a great follow up to Running down the keys from 2002. In the past year I've see the band ten times, photographed them on numerous occasions, filmed them several times and thoroughly enjoyed every moment I've spent with them. Standout tracks on this release would have to be West, Stirring, Doom Pony, Precious Ace, All Moments... and the Vista featuring Georgina Cooper on Cello. The band are about to head into the studio to work on their next album which is fantastic news indeed.

Fall in love with Lucid 3 before everyone else does!

I have never heard any other music by Lucid 3 other than this cd, All Moments Leading To This. Trust me, this cd will convince even the most pop-centric listener that independant music has a strong voice in society. Pitch-Jumping and Precious Ace are lovely--the sound is so ephemeral--if you could combine all those moments when Bjork, Radiohead, Built to Spill, Tori Amos, etc. were all sweet and melodious and never threatening--that is what Lucid 3 is---all the soul and sweetness and none of the danger. I love that. Plus, they are from New Zealand, which rocks. I'm so glad to see independant music flourish all over the world.
