We recorded this record in two days in November 2009 and two more days in March 2011 at blAcksound music sanctuary and recording studio in Pasadena California. www.blacksoundmusic.com With the helpful guiding as our engineer and producer Michael Parnin has helped us get the best sound quality and our best performances to date on tape. Due to the fact mainly that Michael has a long history of working with great bands and getting the best out of them every time. His clientele includes the likes of Rage Against the Machine,Steve Stevens (guitarist for Billy Idol), Joe Strummer, TERROR, and Leonard Cohen just to name a few. So we knew from the start we were in good hands! White Knuckles to the Wheel... Foot to the Floor is a collection of songs some old some new that embody what Luck of the Draw tries to put out live every time we play a gig, high energy loud guitars and drums thrown in with a sense of humor. In face we try to not take ourselves to seriously most of the time, the live shows especially have a very comedic vibe to them. Once the record was completed with the help of our good friend Cris "buddy noone" from www.13coffinnails.com with his fantastic job of doing the artwork lay out we were signed to Real Punk Radio the Label and quickly the record was out to the public. We had a great time doing this record and look forward to getting back into blAcksound to record the next one... maybe this time we'll stay longer than four days.
