These guys seem to have a sensibility that often obscures time signatures in a strange but wierdly appropriate way. I'm now into my third listening and still finding new things popping up. Definitely not the usual.

Even though there isn;t much percussion, I really got into this thing.

I really got into this CD even though there's not much percussion. The guitar (if that's what it is) and keyboards supply the percussive much of the time. I'd call this movie music for a road trip if I had to define it.

Intelligent sound collage wihout the junk

I'm into sound collage and some of this music fits that category...but without the noise and the junk. "Surfacing" has its interesting melodic ideas but it's the textures and overlay that attracted me. I'd like to hear this stuff live.
