Sensual AND propulsive. Lots of atmospherics throughout but way different from ambient. These guys seem to have a sensibility that often obscures time signatures in a strange but wierdly appropriate way. I'm now into my third listening and still finding new things popping up. Definitely not the usual.

Intelligent sound collage wihout the junk

I'm into sound collage and some of this music fits that category...but without the noise and the junk. "Surfacing" has its interesting melodic ideas but it's the textures and overlay that attracted me. I'd like to hear this stuff live.
