notes

"This CD is a must. The groove will suck you in and the lyrics will slap you in the face".

"If you can't relate to this, you may be living but, you're not alive"!

"Lucky Mutt"
The Lucky Mutt band started out in 1998 as a three piece band.
In 1998 we made a "demo" CD called "Making The Best Of A Bad Situation", which is a
compilation of 14 songs both acoustic solo with Chris, and full band composing, where we
really started getting it all together.

In July of 2000, Scott Turner joined Lucky Mutt as our lead guitarist. Scott has also
added some great backing vocals and writing skills to the band.

In 2001, we went back into the studio and recorded 10 new original songs. The new
cd is called "No If's And's Or Butts". The entire cd was recorded at Big Sound in
Westbrook. A special "Thanks" to Joe Brian for doing all our mixing and mastering.
Joe also helped on some of the producing, and you can hear him sing some of the
backing vocals on a couple of the songs.

We've been playing the local clubs in Western Maine, and Portland. In 2000 and
2001, we were invited to Providence, Rhode Island to perform at a showcase hosted
by Big Noise. Also in 2000, we had an opportunity to play on live locomotion for
WMPG in Portland. Lucky Mutt has opened up for Troubles at the Stone Coast, and this past August, 2002, performed with Jeremiah Freed, in Starks, Maine.

Our goal is to be known as one of the best bands from Maine, with great sounds
and original music, and not just your ordinary "Cover-Band". We think you will agree
with us after you attend one of our shows and listen to our music. Our newly designed
website www.luckymuttband.com has just been published with plenty of sound clips and full length mp3's........photo's...Our play list.. and schedule. Drop in and take a tour.
