Thanks for reviewing this album! You should see it show up on the album page in a few days.
I first saw the Lucky Victims perform at The Cellar Door in Covent Garden From the very first song I knew I had stumbled on something special, something unique, and something truly magnificent! Nowadays I have joined the growing horde of Lucky Victims fanatics that attend every performance they possibly can. When I try to describe the Lucky Victims to people who have not heard them I tell them that they have a unique poetry behind their music with the passion of Marc Bolan or David Bowie but with memorable iconic tunes like Queen. My favourite song is Busy Being Beautiful but every song on this album has its own charm and beauty. There are no dull tracks. Each one is a born classic. In fact Lucky Victims show a range of self expression and parallels in any other more than rock band. With the philosophical and morose tracks like If I don't make it and the bittersweet sound of last year's Valentine ranging to some of the brightest most colourful celebratory feel good tracks I believe have ever been written like until Till The Wheels Come Off and Let's Put The Future Behind Us and you just have to hear POT-a beginner's guide! I really recommend this album to anyone that will stimulate your heart and your head in equal measure. Read more...
