Album Notes

The music on Romanticism features a blend of swirling guitars and reverb-tinged vocals with lyrics taking influence from classical Greek tragedies and Romantic-era poetry. Blog Kaini Industries says: "Romanticism doesn’t just stay in one place like most ripoff shoegaze bands do. It explores the nooks and crannies of the genre better than any other shoegaze album I have ever encountered, and I have encountered many."

The debut album was produced, mixed and mastered by Adam between 2005-2007. The lengthy process can be attributed to a combination of relentless perfectionism, obsessive mixing tweaks and a typical musician budget (read: very little.)

A live incarnation of the band made its debut in April 2007 with the CD release of Romanticism following shortly thereafter. Feel free to listen to our latest material at http://www.myspace.com/theludvicotreatment
