Album Notes

i record all my music in my basement. i play all the instruments myself, and i record all the tracks individually with only one microphone. i've been playing in bands for 6 years, but i've been working on my solo project for 4 years. and this is my second formal solo release. this album rocks with abundant harmonies, layerings, and experimental changes with curious melodies that will be flowing through your head for days. i have been working with recording music for about 5 years and i have recorded many solo artists and full bands.

my instrumentation consists of electric and acoustic guitars, bass and drums, plus a moog, air organ, and many vocal layerings. i also have other various rhythm accompaniments that you will love... some things that set me apart from most bands are the different techniques i use to create a wide array of textures of sounds in the tracks, and the vibrant vintage equipment that i record with.

lyrically you'll find the majority of the content to be about my cry for an understanding of who god is and who i am, and how that whole thing works. i was raised a very conservative christian, and a few years ago i completely hit the reset button, and now, i am searching for the truth. searching for answers... this album reflects the struggle for finding answers in the midst of a superficial world and the dissatisfaction of normal dry daily life, in a new and refreshing way.

i currently attend portland state university studying psychology and spanish. i've traveled to south america and seen a lot of seriously crazy stuff which gives me inspiration to make this creative music. this album is definately my best music ever. and in case you didn't notice, there are 20 songs on this album! you really can't go wrong with this CD. i know you will absolutely love it!

listen. buy. love.

I enjoy Lukes latest work be careful what you do with your time. The harmonies are tight and very smooth. the rythems are right on. and the intellect is deep and smooth. I hope Luke continues to produce and perform so I can catch him in person somewhere.
