Album Notes

"Live in Melbourne 2008" was recorded on the final concert of an Australian tour in 2008.
Lulo Reinhardt is from the clan of Reinhardts to which belongs his grand uncle, the world famous musician Django Reinhardt.
“The audience often expects me to play exclusively in the style of Django Reinhardt. As well as this, I Have found a style of my own.”
Taught to play guitar at the age of five by his father Bawo, Lulo was playing in a sextet by the age of 12.
He is described as a spontaneous and spirited musician and his different styles come from a musical voyage to find flamenco roots in Spain, Latin and Brazilian jazz from South America, combined with his own artistic stamp and gypsy influences. His name has achieved international acclaim. In 1991, he founded “I Gitanos” with his father Bawo and cousin Dege, touring throughout Europe.
