Three social athletes, fuelled on an unhealthy diet of excess, with Motorhead, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and the Cosmic Psychos surging through their veins, have decided to take another swipe at the auditory nerves of unsuspecting audiences.

Lumber hit the music scene in 1994 shrouded in a cloud of two-stroke fumes and drenched in beer to preach their gospel of dodgy cops, cask wine, evil women and prison tatts to the masses. But after two years of continual playing went there own separate ways.

After ten years and more than a few beers, Lumber harnessed the digital medium with their apocalyptic two-stroke, three-chord rock ‘n’ roll and released a bone-crushing debut on Beba Las Ganancias Records called ‘Decade of Procrastination’. The aptly named disc entails 32 minutes of rhythmic assault, merging songs about police corruption, carnivorous females and just drinking too much.

Once released, the sounds of Lumber easily permeated back into the Australian music scene with successful gigs throughout Melbourne, Canberra, Wollongong and Sydney and significant air play on Melbourne’s public broadcasting services. Two songs from the Disc will also be used on the independently released Sydney skate DVD ‘Butchery’.
