Album Notes

Luna is a singer songwriter from Kentucky. Her music is best described as a mosaic of sound that filters through her small town America grounding. Described by some as a “Female Tom Petty” Luna writes about events that could be happening next door to you or across the ocean, depending on your perspective. She is gifted with a voice steeped in Appalachian tradition but never afraid to let guitars drive the message. Her dynamic live shows often begin with her hard driving roots rock sound, then ease into the haunting acapella “Pretty Saro” before kicking back into a rockabilly stomper. Not easily grouped into a folk, country or rock genre, Luna blends all of her influences into an honest sound. Featuring a versatile band that can sound like Buck Owens’s band one second and Led Zeppelin the next, she writes and performs from the heart. Luna has preformed all across the United States as well as in Great Britain. She is always well received by audiences that appreciate pure music.
