Formed in the winter of 2009, Marca Luna’s humble beginnings were quickly changed by the bands love for not only their music, but for each other as well.
Recording their first E.P. in drummer Aaron De Rosso’s bedroom, the band began their journey together. After numerous shows around the Portland area at venues like The Hawthorne Theater, Satyricon, and Ash St. Saloon; two hard-earned battle of the bands victories, and a showcase on Twaddle Radio; Marca Luna went in to record their first studio E.P. with Dan McCall at Robots Ate My Studio.
They then started off 2010 by playing The Portland Expo Center in front of thousands of fans, being described as a “wall of sound” and “controlled chaos.” Soon after landing a spot on Cheezy Flicks feature film Stripperland’s nationally released soundtrack. With the help of manager Becky Coke, the boys: Marcus Glaze, Ian Ferguson, Kyle Woody, and Aaron De Rosso, are on their way to exposing the world to the love, passion, and experience that Marca Luna beholds.
