I am grateful for all the people who have come in and out of my life for a reason, a season or a lifetime; in some way, each adding something of value to my world. Through luck and friendship I had a wonderful opportunity to record some of my songs in Nashville, TN. It started out as a demo project, but the more I listened to my recordings, the more I was loving what was happening to my songs and realized I wanted them for myself not simply demowork. Called my friend Mike Dunbar who was engineering & producing the demo projects and asked to change direction and start working on a full lenght CD. Without hesitation, Mike gathered up some of the finest Nashville musicians and we set out to finish the album - Joanne Lurgio, Nothing Remains the Same.

Due to the nature of the initial project goal, you will find this album is an eclectic mix of sounds; Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, Country Gospel & Acoustic Rock sounds.

But I must admit there is one thing that hasn't change ... my motto.. 'If, even for a moment, I can make you laugh, cry, think, remember or just forget the troubles of your day, then I have succeeded." It still rings true. I hope you are somehow touched by my words and music.
