People are talking about Luther Badman Keith, a late comer to the blues scene who has been winning fans over with his take no prisoners approach to the blues.
The Detroit, Mich. native brings original songwriting, mixing humor and social commentary, a nasty, yet tasty, guitar tone, and tons of energy every time he takes to the stage.
Add to that his roaring vocal styles, and it's easy to see why the house wakes when Luther fires up.
Keith's biggest influence is the late Luther Allison, the first blues guitar player Keith saw play live, immediately convincing him that he wanted to get a guitar and play the blues.
Eventually Keith jammed with Allison, to whom he has dedicated his debut CD, Badman.
Keith's CD reflects a wide range of influences and moods, from rock to classic blues and soul.
"I try to keep things interesting," explains Keith, who didn't take up the guitar until he was 30 years of age.
"I always am hearing things in my head, and that's what's on my CD."

An enjoyable set of hot guitar player and powerful vocals.
This is a well played and well produced set of modern electric blues.
There`s plenty of music to treasure here and if you like Luther Allison but also Texas and other Chicago electric blues, you will find much here to celebrate.
Great surprise.Five stars

This will get you out of yourself and start smiling and rocking
author: Wendy Schroeder
I was driving one day depressed. I just got this CD so I decided to pop it into my player. The first song got me smiling and I cranked up the music. I loved every song on this CD. He can really belt out a song. I can't help but wonder if his throat hurts after a jam session. Great voice! Also a great band. Buy this CD. It's worth every penny.
