Luvplanet - Addictive & timeless!
Singer/songwriters Nicole Sutton & Mark McGee(Gregg Allman & Vicious Rumors fame) are the heart and soul of this Northern California music group. Formed in 2001 by Nicole Sutton and Mark McGee, their signature vocals and cleverly crafted songs have been winning over audiences everywhere they perform!
Nicole first met Mark when a mutual friend asked him to contribute guitar tracks to her demos. They felt an undeniable chemistry immediately.
Luvplanets debut cd, released in spring of 2003 is super melodic with memorable hooks and showcases lush vocal harmonies and Mark's stellar guitar work. Mixing magical, music elements to create a seductive sound that is fresh yet familiar. Produced by Mark McGee the cd delivers pure heartfelt emotion with energy and vibe that's unmistakeable. Guest musicians Katie Schuch-vocals, Tommy Thompson(Gregg Allman, Alameda All Stars) on Hammond B3 & pianist Chris Carletto add wonderful texture while bass legend Stuart Hamm(Steve Vai)and drummer Jeff Campitelli (Joe Satriani) provide powerful, solid grooves for the band's classic songs.
This cd is definitely a must have!!!
Luvplanet's new cd "State of Mind" is set for a May 2005 release. State of Mind has more of an edge than their debut cd, with extreme guitar-work and impassioned vocals. The new cd also includes new members Tommy Sisco/ Bass & Scott Mckenzie - drums bringing the band to a whole new level.
