Album Notes

"Wormholes"- is the 1998 debut CD from Brent A. Reiland & John Lyell, two artists who are steeped in the subconsciousness of today's ambient electronic music. Searching through the lighter and darker realms of mood and thought, these two artists have composed, arranged and produced subtle textures and relaxing soundtracks that reach the inner soul as well as the outer limits of space and time.

From 1997-1998, this subsequent material was the labor of musical focus for John Lyell and Brent A. Reiland. This musical focus has led to an induction to the fine art of silence as it pertains to recording ambient electronic music and to the discovery of new recording techniques as well as new instruments and friends. A special thanks to all the friends who helped us on the "Wormholes" project and to all the fans of this special type of ambient music. We surely hope that you will enjoy the fruits of our labor.... so have a listen... and experience "Wormholes" !!!

It is asked, when listening to this CD, that you close your eyes and open your mind to the infinite possibilities of your imagination. Experience this music as if you were a traveler moving through the universe. Feel yourself lifted to new heights and places on this journey through your subconsciousness. By the end of the CD, you will find yourself back from outer space to dwell as the well traveled "Starchild"!!!
