A winner of Vermont's premier annual singer-songwriter competition, the Acoustic Guitar Search, Lyle King has been described as a passionate and refreshing contemporary folk-pop artist. In 2002 he released his debut CD, Left Standing, which Amy Robson of LeftOffTheDial.com regarded as "a must have for any fan of acoustic rock and any fan of pure and passionate music." King has continued to break into the local music scene by performing at many of the area's most popular venues and events including Higher Ground, Radio Bean, The Vermont Festival for the Arts, and First Night Burlington.
