Every so often an artist comes your way who stands out from the crowd. Lyndon Wesley is that artist. A distinctive individual who continues to win enormous respect as a writer, performer and producer. After returning from an Australian tour in 1996 Lyndon ventured out as a solo performer. He has since won numerous songwriting awards, produced three albums and has played support to the likes of Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock) Mark Seymour (Hunters and Collectors) and Don Walker (Cold Chisel).

While The World Lay Sleeping is Lyndon's superb new offering and arguably his finest work to date. Hear sublime melodies ebb and flow against a sonic backdrop of guitars, drums, piano and strings. Its hard to imagine tiring of this mini-album as each successive listen reveals something new within the arrangement. Mature, memorable songs that appear to be as instinctive as they are orchestrated. While The World Lay Sleeping really does show what an extraordinary songwriter Lyndon is.
