Album Notes

This CD was recorded at the OKLAHOMA OPRY RECORDING STUDIO in 1999. It was a cold, snowy winter night in February and we cut this entire album in one three hour session with NO overdubs. It's pretty much a "Live" recording.

David Riggs is the guitar player. He used a G&L tele and a Laney 30 watt tube amp with no effects. David is one of the most talented men that I have ever worked with and very well could be the best "unknown" blues player in OKC or anywhere else for that matter.

The drummer is my good buddy, Randy Mote. I taught Randy how to play drums when he was 11 years old. I don't think his parents have ever forgiven me for that. If you look up the word "energy" in the dictionary, you will find Randy's picture. He has the metabolism of a mongoose. Randy has incredible chops and you never have to worry about him "dragging".

My name is Pastor Lynn Walker and I am the keyboard player/vocalist/songwriter. I am kicking bass with my left hand and playing piano/B-3 parts with my right hand. I never dreamed that we would get this album recorded in one night. In fact, I could barely talk that morning due to a bad cold. But God had a plan for us that night, a good plan, a plan to prosper us and not to harm us.

You can HEAR the anointing in this album, and you may not like like my singing, but you will have to admit that it is not the voice of a sick man. This project was concieved and completed to glorify God, and came into existence by His Word, His Love, and His Power.

Don't expect any fancy packaging. All you get is a CD in a cheap case, and no shrink wrap. BUT...the music will stir your soul and cause your spirit to shoot straight up!!!
