What happens when we mix atmospheric ambient melodies with crunchy, post-apocalyptic beats enveloped by the the ferocious cadence of a Jamaican-born (Cali-raised) visual artist/poet who grew up on golden era hip hop? Surely, it would sound something similar to LyriCatalyst's Dystopian SonLight. This entirely self-produced album is his first release ever and contains 44 minutes of intimacy, anger, vulnerability, and hope within 14 songs.
