Randy Fox and Barry Hammers have known each other for many years, but when they decided to form Machine Made Pleasure in 2004, they never imagined the music they could create. Inspired by recent artists Apoptygma Berzerk, De/Vision, Icon of Coil, Colony 5, VNV Nation and influenced by past greats Depeche Mode, Erasure and The Human League, Machine Made Pleasure set out to make great music that would play in your head all day.
The NEWEST CD ‘REFORM’ has arrived! Now on Section 44 records Machine Made Pleasure has never sounded this good. Co-produced at Record Arts Studios in Fairfax by Marco Delmar, Machine Made Pleasure captured the heart of Synth/Electro music. Hits like “Falling and “If I Could Find the Peace” tell the whole story. ENJOY!
In 2008 we were rewarded with the new CD “Ends with E”.. A more mature sounding Machine Made Pleasure is both musically and lyrically a pleasure to listen to. It is amazing how far the band has traveled. Needless to say, the new Cd will touch you heart, move your feet and make you think about how we live. Hope you enjoy “Ends with E”.
Their first full length CD entitled “Spirit Within” was released in Sept 2005. Machine Made Pleasure received great feedback from their 1st release. Besides being played by clubs in the DC area, the song “Ghost” hit #1 on Aeschtunes (#8 in 2005), soundclick.com, unsignedbandweb.com and Slothradio.com. Other songs like “Id Die For You”, “I break the Chain and “Fast As Ever” have also hit #1 and are being played on many web radio stations such as Infusedradio.net, 99.9 The Electric Front, Tesses Indie wave, Aeschtunes, Signal Decay and Sloth Radio.com just to name a few.
