With her 2001 release HALF WILD and her self-titled debut album, released in 1998, singer/songwriter and guitarist Julia Macklin demonstrated her strong gift for sensitive, melodic, thoughtful songwriting.

UNBROKEN, released in Nov. 2010, explores a grittier, rock-based sound that showcases Julia's ethereal voice with a strong, rock rhythm backdrop.

Written and performed with sensitivity and depth, UNBROKEN tells a story of love, hope, and exploration, and contains a haunting duet with Teddy Thompson of U2’s “One.”

Produced by Ethan Eubanks with guest appearances from Teddy Thompson, Marina Belica, Daru Oda, Whynot Jansveld, The Anthology Strings, Dan Cho, Daniel Mintseris, Pete Rende, Jon Darling, David Patterson, and Pete Rende.
