The long await is finally over. The East Palo Alto super group Mac & A.K. are finally back with their brand new album "Legendary". This action packed album is the follow up to the street classic "Hu$tle Mu$ic Vol. 1" released in 2004. The Gold selling duo and former major label signees (Tommy Boy Records 1995-1998) having been in the game for over 10 years strong, are now considered O.G.'s hence the albums' title "Legendary". The twin brother rap group have collaborated with many of todays greatest artists such as E-40, Keyshia Cole, Game, Keak Da Sneak, San Quinn, Jacka and many others. They also have a Gold record under their belt having been featured on the Gold selling "Nothing To Lose Soundtrack" with the song "Way Too Saucy", which featured veteran Vallejo rapper Mac Mall.
Mac & A.K. are out to continue their success with another stellar project. Not only is the album being released independently on their label E&K Music Group, the entire album was produced and mixed by Mac P. To date, Mac has been the sole producer for all of their past and present projects guaranteeing each album has a seperate identity from any other album out today. Also on this album , they introduce a new crop of fresh talent to the rap world. Guest artists appearing such as: Money Mont, King Cydal, Shake, G-Dub, Stack Cheese, Les Gimix, The Co-Defendants, Yung Dangle and Karizmakaze show that Mac & A.K. have their ears to the street allowing the stars of tomorrow a chance to get some shine today. They also give love to other regions with southern artist Slim Gutta (Atlanta GA.) and East Coast artist Boulevard (Bronx NY.) rounding out the appearances.
Mac & A.K., E&K Music Group, and their street team have the love, drive and knowledge of the ever changing music industry to make this and any other project that they are affiliated with a success. They will do their part, now retailers do yours, do not be left out on one of the hottest albums this year.
