Album Notes

This remarkable vocal ensemble from the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana has received wide audience acclaim. The Society performs regionally, promoting awareness and appreciation of the art of a cappella singing through live performance, recordings and educational programs in schools.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Don Matlock, these all volunteer, non-professional singers create their own unique blend and signature sound. Typical selections range from Renaissance madrigals to vocal jazz, classic love songs, patriotic, folk tunes and toe-tapping gospel, with interesting new arrangements and challenging music styles.
