Playing together for a long time, this band's core experiences have forged their sound into one of Chicago's best kept secrets, Madahari. At home in many different styles, this is a band that's not afraid to test it's own roots. Energetic rock, modern rock, experimenting with new and old sounds, this roller coaster rock... emotional rock with highs and lows has got to be heard.

Madahari's debut release, Seven Star Music, represents an evolution as a band and as individual musicians. Liquid Light, the first song recorded on the disc, which set the tone for the band's willingness to experiment, is a haunting, emotional song about a man's struggle with his demons. Can't You See and Mother touch on the band's ability to display their funky side, making audiences want to groove, while Plastic Man is the disc's hard edged, straight-up rocker.


One of Madahari's strongest points are their incredible live shows. Seeing a show is more than just a chance to hear their music, as the band's audience interaction, visual presentation, and on- stage antics create the total Madahari experience.
