Album Notes

All the songs on this CD were written by the bandleader, Michael A. Gregory. It is the result of many years of songwriting and it took two years to record. There were several personnel changes in the band during the recording process and many of the tracks were re-recorded several times.

The subject material of the songs come from Michael's life experiences and from his imagination as well. The styles vary much more than the "genre" description will allow. The songs span classic rock, blues, reggae, country rock and even some light jazz.

Instrumentation consists of electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums and tenor sax. Most of the keyboard, string and horn section sounds were done on a Roland guitar synthesizer. All the Lead vocals and much of the harmony was recorded by Michael Gregory. John Basa, "Frenchy" and Ben Lev also contributed their vocals to the harmony tracks on some songs.
John Basa played drums on all tracks. "Frenchy" Trudeau played bass. Joe Shelley played tenor sax and Ben Lev played a few guitar parts and one piano part on guitar synth.

The band "Mad Dash" performs regularly in Northern California, all around the Sacramento area. Their website is www.maddashmusic.com . They have played many clubs, private events, festivals and record stores. They have been interviewed on radio and cable tv. The recording is being sold off the bandstand and is available in several local record stores.
