Madison Rising's self-titled debut album was released in October 2011. The band – with Dave Bray on vocals, Alex Bodnar on bass and guitar, Christopher Schreiner on lead guitar and Sam Fishman on drums – makes guitar heavy rock music with a distinctively pro-American message and sound. The overarching theme of the band’s music is that of liberty, independence, smaller government and personal responsibility. This is a group of musicians fueled by an eternal gratitude and love for their country. Madison Rising: music with meaning.

Album Notes

Madison Rising brings great rock music back into the forefront of popular culture. With songs ranging from the lyrically powerful and guitar heavy opening track “Right To Bear,” to the hauntingly epic sounds of “Honk If You Want Peace,” to the beautiful violins and cello of “Hallowed Ground,” it is clear that this band is on a mission to not only make great music, but to also send a message that American culture is alive and well.
The songs represent the best elements modern American society and the characters are replete with individuality, intelligence, gratitude and ambition. Without a doubt, Madison Rising is the quintessential All-American rock band.

All tracks were recorded at Water Studios in Hoboken and mixed by Ron Saint Germain at Saint’s Place Studio in Kinnelon, NJ.
