A Vibrant Musical Experience!
author: Peter Havel
The disc opens with a very interesting long-form piece, harking back to the early days of prog-rock. Then the album moves into a fascinating series of songs, with many different topics and styles, yet still with an overall solid identity. Even the inclusion of three cover songs dosn't disruipt the flow! (Although, as prolific and talented as the songwriters are, why do covers? But that's just quibbling: all are excellent!) What's more amazing is that the original songs span 1975-1992, yet the album radiates a oneness of purpose, a continuity that belies its origins. The musicianship is high quality, the various sound effects are wonderful accents to the songs, and the vocals are ethereal and moving. Put it all together and you have a vibrant, enjoyable musical experience!

I was surprised by their 'Ghost of a Living Twilight' cd, but this is even more unexpected. Not at all like the other. It sounds more contemporary, but more fervent, explorative. I found lyrics on their website and see that these as more daring, more social, not so inward. Long Is The Night was truly chilling.

Very surprising band. They have an odd but original sound, every song is good, but “Eternity of Light” so good that I want to hear it over and over, the song “Someone” nearly the same. The whole cd is highly commendable.
