This EP project was born out of a deeply painful winter of great loss and a fruitful collaboration. The fall of 2000 saw the Maggies regroup with some new members and a clatch of new songs. Philip has had a long association with noted author Jonathan Lethem (Motherless Brooklyn, Girl in Landscape, This Shape We're In) and the idea of a short story and a short EP seemed like a nice idea. I mean, why the hell not? So they did it.

Not much more than that, except that the lovely "whimsical industrial" photography was supplied by old Lethem/Price cohort (and co-creator of DreamWorld News) Luke Jaeger. And there's some other nice photos by Andrew Greto.
