Album Notes

2012 is an historic year for all the people of Northern Ireland. One hundred years after the RMS Titanic sank, a ship that was designed and built in the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast .Belfast's skyline is still dominated today by Harland and Wolff's famous twin Gantry cranes, Samson and Goliath, Maggie Young's grandfather, a foreman and steel erector had the privilege of being the first person to climb to the top of Goliath built in 1969 and for all the work he was involved in he even received a BEM from the Queen. John Linton Hunter, Maggie's grandfather had worked on the shipyard for over thirty years and most probably worked along side men who built the Titanic.
