Album Notes
A digital recording of a concert presented by Pinecone (Piedmont Council for Traditional Music) on December 9th, 2007.
Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, the Magnolia Klezmer Band is 12 years old and performs Eastern European Jewish music from Romania, Moldavia, Russia and the Ukraine blended with American traditional jazz and swing. The concert size band heard here consists of 10 instrumentalists and two vocalists performing in Yiddish and English.
