Cool Idea, some great songs

I'm quiet astonished bout one of the bands on this album:
Last Disciple from Germany not just make a great version of "phantom of the opera" but also released a wonderful own song called "world turns". A little bit like savatage-style! Great thing and pretty cool musicians!

A Good CD , A Good Price , A Good Purchase .....

Bought the album after hearing "22 Acacia Ave" on the Mpulse Internet Charts. Great price for a 2 disc cd import package. Not the best Iron Maiden Tribute I have heard , but songs from the first couple of bands made it worth the buy. Most notable bands were Delusion and Aska.

Great Package, Great Covers, Great Originals
author: Jon Truxten
I think this was a great effort. If you listen to the covers they were all handled in a different fashion. Some chose to play it as it was writen like Cessation of Life's killer version of "Wrathchild" and others went wild like Moksha creating a medley of various songs. Plus the original's on Disc 2 shows the real talents of these bands. I encourage people to check out the disc and check out the bands on there own.

Tribute to Maiden
author: Fred Jomidad
Let's review the new Iron Maiden tribute album called Children of the Damned which has been released on Adrenaline Records. My first thought when I opened the CD was "Wow" , what a killer packaging job. This tri-fold CD -pak is filled with full-color pictures and information on the twelve bands appearing on this two-disc tribute. Unique to other tributes this release contains all original songs by the bands on disc two. Featured on both discs are Maryland's own Delusion , delivering a rockin' rendition of Iron Maiden's song "22 Acacia Avenue" , and their own song , "Feel This Way". Other mentionable performances go out to Aska for their rendition of "Flight of Icarus" and to GooseFlesh for their rendition of "Killers".
