The US-debut EP album by MAI (My) Kawamura, a popular J-Pop singer in her native Japan since 2001. After moving to NYC in 2004, leaving a major-label contract and promising career in Japan, MAI has developed a unique music style by splashing J-Pop sound with a twist of R&B. From a great take on 70's dance music My Sumer Love, cover of Koi-No-Kisetsu (1967) - one of the biggest hits in Japanese pop music history - to soulful Another Day, each song is different and has its own unique flavor yet retains the distinctiveness of MAI music. With her rich, powerful and versatile vocal, MAI throughout the CD creates the mood all her own. This highly enjoyable 6-song album also gives a perfect peek into her first full-length album in the US expected to be released in late 2010.
