Main Gazane, an old jazz term meaning “my main man” or “my main thing,” is a contemporary jazz group featuring keyboardist-composer Mark Minchello, and multi-instrumentalist Bob Magnuson. The Group was originally signed by legendary producer John Hammond on Columbia records.

Mark Minchello has been musical director for R&B diva Regina Belle
for the past 10 years. He also has served as MD for two Jazz Explosion tours, featuring Boney James, Will Downing, Gerald Albright, & Phil Perry. Before that he toured with the late Luther Vandross. Mark has recently produced 2 songs featuring Marion Meadows.

Bob Magnuson is a staple on the NY studio scene, and has played on many CD’s in different genres, including Whitney Houston and B.B. King. He has performed with The Three Mo Tenors, and Gospel-R&B singer Jennifer Holiday.
