The Majestics Rhythm Revue
The Majestics are a terrific blues-based funk band that has been performing steadily all over the Midwest since 1998. We are based out of Lawrence, Kansas, a university town just west of Kansas City.
In May of 2002, we released our second full length CD, entitled "Kickin' It With You." Featuring the commanding vocals of the always impressive LADY Z, this six-piece band is well-known for its captivating live shows. Primarily an original music band, we do have an large amount of classic blues/rock/soul covers we can throw out when the party situation demands it. After all, it is all about everyone having fun. Just no "Mustang Sally" or "Car Wash," please! Ninety per cent of our shows are club and theater dates, but we are always up for the occasional wedding reception or private party. Our newest record is starting to attract serious major label interest!
