Kimmerjae has been performing in the Boulder area for twenty years. Her songs have roots in American folk and acoustic music, but move forward with many eclectic influences from Jazz to Sub-Saharan African Blues. Kimmerjae knows how to engage an audience in a quiet and simple way while at the same time leaving them tapping their toes and wanting more. Ty Burhoe has this to say about her:
