Malani O’Toole grew up in the remote and scenic fishing town of Cordova, Alaska. She first recorded with "Bearfoot" at age 15. The group went on to win the "best new band" contest at Telluride...an honor previously bestowed on groups such as the Dixie Chicks and Nickel Creek. Malani left Bearfoot to attend Stanford University where she finished her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Now she is back with this compelling debut solo album.
