SOME INTERESTING TRIVIA...

1. Following it's release in 2002, Love Holds On garnered 3 awards & 7 nominations!

2. Jim Witter (international Curb Records artist) not only co-produced the album with Mark, he also co-wrote Without The Pain--and is singing those prominent BG's!

3. Adam Gregory's drummer, Chad Melchert, drums on many of the tunes & the female background singers on Love Holds On are Stacey and Giselle from Lace.

4. 2001 Juno winner Lester Quitzau plays a dobro solo on the last track (Mercy), and 2001 Juno Winner Maria Dunn plays the opening whistle solo on Kingdom of Freedom.

5. Jann Arden's live and studio musicians, Darcy Phillips and Mike Lent, play keyboards and bass respectively.

6. Half the CD was recorded in Ontario in a 200 year old farmhouse The Stonehouse (Darren Walters); the other half, at Barry Allen's Homestead Recorders in Edmonton, Alberta. Barry is, for the third year in a row, the Prairie Music Award Engineer of the Year.

7. Covenant award winner Lianna Klassen is featured in Kingdom of Freedom with her trademark Celtic vocals.

8. Mark's guitar playing is throughout the CD including the only guitar in As You Are, and the gut string fills on He Turned One.

9. Mark's wife, Lea, sings a duet on the CD on Mind Over Matter and also designed the album.

10. Mark wrote/co-wrote all the songs on Love Holds On.
