Album Notes

Throwing off the chains of conformity to allow themselves the freedom of original music without labels, Malvado have proved themselves to be the premier hard rock band to emerge out of the mid-Atlantic in recent history. A true image of creativity, talent and professionalism, the band began their journey into the darkest regions of the musical soul in early 2000 amidst the separation of the band's predecessor, FIST; in which the remaining members decided to continue their desire to make unique, mysterious music by immersing themselves in the song writing process.

Malvado made their crushing debut in February 2000, and since then have been hard at work creating a powerful buzz and a loyal fan bas spanning the entire Mid-Atlantic region. In only a short period of time, Malvado have shared he stage with such national acts as Staind, Joan Jett, Drain STH, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Dope, Anthrophobia, Virgos Merlot, Vast, Second Coming and many, many more.

Malvado's debut album, released in the Summer of 2002, is sure to quickly become a staple in every hard rock lover's music collection, so be sure to check out the official website, www.malvadoband.com, for more information on the CD's release date, merchandise information and tour dates.

I was fortunate enough to hanging around with Malvado when this was being recorded. I never got to the studio sessions, but was there for a grat many of the taped practices. I'll never forget the show in Manhatten when we rode up on the Party Bus and got plastered both directions...lol. All the shows with Rebel Amish Radio....man good times. This band will challenge your mind and rock your soul. An unrepeatable perfection of harmony and discord. I miss you guys and hope you are each doing well. Matt, Dave, Lenny, and Chris - thanks for the memories.

I really wish these guys were still around. Malvado was, hands down, the best local band I've ever seen in Baltimore. The music still kicks ass. Thanks for the music gentlemen!

Matter of fact...Lots of ass. Hard, crunchy, snarling, heavy rock...the way I like it. Great vocal mix, banging bass, excellent drumming & and kudos on the lyrics. If you like also, check out their newer CD as well. Recommend it!!

Damn. I was floored when i just randomly bumped into these guys on cdbaby. Musically flawless, interesting songwriting, strong lyrics, and this will easily be accepted by any commercial audience without sacrificing much. BUY THIS CD!! Any good musician (and even non musician) will take something away with them after listening to this album.
