From Surfside, Florida, Planet 8 Records releases the “Electro, Global, Future Jazz” project INVISIBLE INTELLIGENCE by Mandorla. British jazz/funk fusionist Clive Stevens is the mastermind behind Mandorla, making this release his eighth studio album. In addition to his many achievements as an artist, Stevens studied saxophone in his native England before attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, and later he continued his learning in California where he focused on flute at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. On INVISIBLE INTELLIGENCE he fuses sonic environments to create a deep journey, taking the listener on a vast and exciting audio excursion to far away destinations… from Brazil to Bombay. This innovative release offers up nine transporting tracks that create a 21st century cosmopolitan sound by seamlessly melding eclectic influences from contemplative Eastern mantras, sultry and melodic nu soul, Afro-Latin deep house rhythms, cosmic jazz funk, subterranean hip hop and blissful down-beat meditations. “Tiger From Venus” is a stand out track for us here at SmoothLounge.com with the sensual, swirling vocals of one of our favorite singers, Nicole Henry.
