Manhattan Project is a new super group originating in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Home of the Atomic Bomb and the original top secret government operation Manhattan Project. Although they take their name from the codename for the World War II nuclear project, none of the members were actually born at the place they unapologetically represent and call home. 2Dub, a Virginia native and fierce vocalist/rapper, met Crisis, a dynamic cross between Bun-B and Cee-Lo, from Mississippi, in 2002 forming a group called Shadow Click, while Jaymo Jangles, a wordsmith from Dallas, was recording and touring with his former group Ghostwritaz. Since teaming up with legendary Tennessee rapper Donald Thump their buzz has been at fever pitch and It's only a matter of time before these stars in waiting breakthrough the surface to become household names. From performing at Thompson-Boling Arena and Madison Square Garden to their ferocious freestyles on the radio, the team has been catching ears and taking no prisoners. Their aggressive street promotions and balls-to-the-wall mentality ensures they will settle for nothing less than the top spot. Manhattan Project, much like the original outfit, was brought together for a purpose. And like the Intro to their aptly titled debut album Genesis; "This is only the beginning…"
