Singer/songwriter Mano Reza releases his long awaited self-produced, debut CD entitled "Book Of Songs". This cd showcases a wide variety of musical influences as well as Mano Reza's strength as a songwriter. Mano not only plays every instrument on every song of the album, but he also offers a selection of song styles that include rock, pop, jazz, reggae and alternative.

Lyrically, Book Of Songs is an album that reads like a book. There are songs of love and love lost as evidenced on the 2 lead singles, "On The Phone" and "Serious". There are also songs of great spiritual inspiration ("And So It Is" and "Waters Of Life"). As the listener follows the journey through Mano Reza's personal experiences and feelings they are comforted and moved by soulful grooves and rich musical textures.

Mano Reza is a unique musician and artist based in New York City. Mano fuses several musical influences into a singular style. Mano's influences includes groups like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Police as well as Prince, Parliament Funkadelic and Fishbone. Mano Reza is a former founding member of the Alternative Funk group Smoov Earth and is known for his very distinctive guitar style and voice. Book Of Songs captures all of these elements into a single musical listening experience.
