danceable, head-bangable, love-makable, absolutely memorable pan-eclectic rock

The way the eastern and western sounds mix, you feel like these artists have stumbled onto something that could end up a lot bigger than themselves. I mean, Mahavishnu Orchestra is one of the closest things I can equate to the sound of Manooghi Hi, but it's not really that similar. Manooghi Hi appeals to musicians and music fans alike. While the excellent production quality could turn off hardcore low-fi/indy/d.i.y. followers, their sound has enough dimension to draw in anybody looking for something new and interesting. This band has something for nearly everyone- be they prog-rockers, yoga moms, teeny-boppers, punk rockers, jazz fans, Tantric therapists, Burlesque enthusiasts, and jam-band groupies alike.
Can't wait for their next album - rumored to fuse country-western, hip hop and polka with indian melody and instrumentation. It's tentatively titled 'country-eastern music'.
