The 182 sanskrit verses of Sri Guru Gita are a 45 minute meditation. This recording was made in Ganeshpuri, India in a traditional manner with harmonium and two voices singing in harmony.
Leo began daily streaming of the chant to the internet in mid 2010 via the website Mantra LIVE. In October 2011 he travelled to India with the idea of capturing the stillness of Ganeshpuri in an audio recording for the 21st Century that reflects the power of this ancient text.

Leo and Simon are old friends from the Melbourne music scene in the 1980s. They set up two rooms and an adjoining balcony as a recording studio in the middle of town and recorded every day for a week.
