Album Notes
Marc is a Detroit based piano man, singer/songwriter, entertainer. On this CD, 'Time Is Precious' with the piano at the forefront he blends elements of roots rock, blues/rock, and pop country. The songs range from poppy and fun to the occasional more intimate ballad. As the title suggests the songs focus on priorities, special moments, timing, and living life to the fullest.

"Marc is an insightful songwriter with a good knack for a great story." -Michael Allard, Program Director 105.3 FM EZRock, Sudbury, Ontario

He's performed at large venues including The Palace Of Auburn Hills, MI and Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been seen on Fox 2 Television in Detroit. His past musical journey has taken him from coast to coast across Canada in blues/rock bands and aboard cruise ships overseas as a solo piano bar entertainer.

CD Reviews and Comments:

"Doiron's debut CD is a collection of keyboard-fueled, radio-ready tracks."
-Jennifer Layton,

"A finely-crafted generally upbeat album that fits right in with most modern radio formats. On the whole this is just an exceptionally-worked piece of pop that's true to the artist and honest in the messages he conveys. There's enough firepower in the album for Marc to go far, given a break or two. His obvious love for his craft make it such an appealing disc you really can't go wrong with it."
- Dan Brisebois,

"The song Living For The Moment has a great overall sound and a creativity not usually found in music these days. It is catchy in a way that brings to memory classic musicians like Billy Joel or Steely Dan...a refreshing burst of talent in a world of monotony."
-Review from

"His latest release 'Time Is Precious' showcases his flexible talent. No niche is left untouched in the pop domain."
-Yanick M. Theriault, Radio J93.5 FM, New Brunswick, Canada

Beautiful collection of songs
"Time Is Precious" is a beautiful collection of songs. Listen closely to the lyrics as each song will strike a chord within you. From songs with a country rock feel, to ballads, to upbeat songs like "Living For the Moment" (my personal fave) you will not want to take this cd out of your player.

Eric Tuchelske, freelance writer, Dearborn Press and Guide

It's really one of the best CDs I've heard in a long time.

John Gavin

A collection of beautiful well-written songs.

"Better Days To Come" is a remarkable song that explores love in a new light
Time is precious is a wonderfully written soulful expression about trials and tribulations through life. Each song has a unique tenderness that pulls on the heart.

Marc does well at writing a contemporary, relatable song with a lot of passion.

Rambles: A Cultural Arts Magazine

Time is Precious is a laidback album good for unwinding from the fast-paced, hectic world of today. Marc Doiron's songwriting style is the storytelling vein, in some ways similar to that of female singer-songwriter Jewel. The album has a pop-country feel about it with a hint of blues, although Marc shows his rockin' side on "Living for the Moment.”

I met Marc at a gig he was doing. Not only is he very nice, hes willing to talk and get to know you. His music speaks for itself it is one of the best cds I have ever heard and I am very picky about my music. I love how you can tell he is doing what he loves. It really shows in his music. My favorite song on the cd is Living for the moment. It shows how great of a singer/songwriter he is. I'll never get tired of listening to him and hope to see him live again soon!!!!
