R&B the way it was intended to sound
author: Dwayne Coleman
After hearing an album like this it amazes me how bad "pop R&B has actually gotten. Hopefully with the rise of independent artists like Morejon the music will once again find its roots. The most striking thing about this album is the use of live instruments played by outstanding studio musicians. Gee, what a concept! Drums are the cornerstone of Jazz and R&B but with the P-Diddy generation fluff being produced today drums are almost an afterthought. Furthermore, Morejon's writing and vocals are top-notch and not the generic, radio friendly junk that currently clutters the nation's airwaves. Hopefully we will hear more from this fresh and welcome new voice.

Well done!
