Marcia is from Smithfield VA. She has been singing since the age of 13. She is now 25 years old and each day she is Rising Higher & higher in the ministry that God has called her to. Along with the gift to sing, Marcia is also a songwriter, actress and Entrepreneur. She is the proud owner of Nu Image Hair Studio located in Newport News, VA Marcia attends Cornerstone Christian Center in Chesapeake, VA with Pastors Michael and Irma Blanchard. She is a member of the dance team as well as active with youth events.
Marcia's debut album was released in 2002. She is now working on her second project entitled Focus. Focus has been a seed waiting to come to full bloom. Through many of lifes twists and turns, Marcia came to a point where her only answer from God was to Focus and trust. From the Loss of a dear sister to many more of lifes unpredictable events, God birthed an answer to keep Marcia on track. You must Focus on my promises and my word. It wasnt easy. There were so many distractions that came to make her lose her way and so many directions she could have chosen to take. Yet only one was the right way. It was only consulting with her Savior and Focusing on God did she know which road to take. The message in this project is a Rhema Word from God so that you will never deviate from the truth. The Lord is saying Stay Focused On Me! Marcia has written this entire project for you to share in her course from heaven entitled FOCUS.
In 2003, she was one of Catch the Rising Star winners. Marcia is on the rise, so be on the lookout for her upcoming project in your local music and bookstores, radio stations and even your T.V. screen.
